Open Scheduled in Gmail and check the message’s date and time. Gmail uses the time zone in which you set up the send, and a scheduled message can go out a few minutes late. If the message is missing from Scheduled, check Sent and Drafts before sending another copy.
01If the email is still in Scheduled
Section linkOn a computer, open Gmail and select Scheduled in the left sidebar. Make sure you are looking at the account you used to write the message. Open it and verify the date and time, especially if you scheduled it while traveling. If the intended time just passed, allow a few minutes and check again.
02Change the time without sending a duplicate
Section linkOpen the queued email and click Cancel send. Gmail puts it back in Drafts. When the draft opens, use the arrow next to Send, choose Schedule send, and select the intended date and time. Check that the message is back in Scheduled. Clicking the main Send button sends the draft now. If you previously cancelled the send without setting a new time, check Drafts for the original.
03If Gmail shows it in Sent
Section linkOpen the message in Sent and check the recipient address. A Sent copy does not confirm delivery to the inbox. Look in Inbox and Spam for a delivery failure notice; if you find one, use its error message to decide what to fix. If there is no notice, ask the recipient to check their spam folder before you send another copy.
