In Excel for Windows, select the range and open Home → Find & Select → Go To Special. Choose Visible cells only and confirm. Copy the selection, then paste into a blank, unfiltered part of the workbook.
01Select the source cells after filtering
Section linkApply the filter, then select the columns and rows you want to copy. Include the header only if you want it in the result. Choose Visible cells only before copying so the selection excludes cells hidden by the filter or by hidden rows and columns.
02Paste into an unfiltered sheet
Section linkClick the top-left cell of a blank destination and paste. For example, if your selection has visible records for Ada and Lina with Mateo hidden between them, the copied records should appear on consecutive rows. Check the names or IDs in the result before sharing it.
03Check the destination before pasting back
Section linkVisible cells only controls what you copy from the source. A regular paste fills consecutive cells at the destination and can reach hidden rows or columns there. Use a new worksheet for the extract if you need to keep the original filtered table intact.
04Check whether the browser data is a table
Section linkExcel for the web can copy visible cells from a filtered Excel table. A regular range with hidden or filtered cells can still bring those cells along. If you need to preserve the range as it is, open the workbook in desktop Excel for Windows and use Go To Special there.
