Tap the screen twice quickly with three fingers together. This zooms out when iPhone Accessibility Zoom is magnifying your screen. To keep the gesture from zooming in again, go to Settings → Accessibility → Zoom and turn Zoom off.
01Move around a screen you can only partly see
Section linkIf the whole screen is enlarged, drag with three fingers to reveal the part outside the visible area. Try the double-tap again with all three fingers landing together. If Zoom was already assigned to the Accessibility Shortcut, triple-click the side or Home button. Select Zoom if a menu of features opens.
02Keep Zoom at a usable size
Section linkIf you use Zoom to read small text, open Settings → Accessibility → Zoom and lower Maximum Zoom Level. To change the current magnification without opening Settings, double-tap with three fingers, keep them on the glass after the second tap, then drag up or down. Window Zoom lets you magnify just part of the screen.
03Use Finder if you still can’t reach Settings
Section linkConnect the iPhone to a Mac and open Finder. If the iPhone appears in the sidebar and you can select it, choose Configure Accessibility, clear Zoom, and confirm. Apple lists iTunes as another route on computers that manage the iPhone through iTunes. If the enlargement affects only a single photo or webpage, try pinching inward there first.
