Open the actual boarding pass in the airline app or its check-in message on your iPhone. Tap Add to Apple Wallet and finish the prompts. If the button is missing, check with the airline and keep its current boarding pass available in the format it accepts.
01Open the issued boarding pass
Section linkA booking confirmation may contain your itinerary without containing the boarding pass. After check-in, open the pass for the correct passenger and flight segment. If you see Add to Apple Wallet, tap it, then tap Add in the upper right if prompted. Open Wallet directly and check the passenger and flight shown there.
02If the add button never appears
Section linkAsk the airline whether the issued pass supports Apple Wallet. If it does not, use the airline app or another boarding pass format the airline tells you it accepts. After rebooking or a seat change, pull up the current pass from the airline so you can check that you have the right flight and passenger before getting to the scanner.
03Find a pass that has expired
Section linkIf you’re looking for a past flight, open Wallet and tap More → Expired. Some passes move there automatically when they expire. Open the entry to see its details. Bringing it back into the main Wallet view does not make it valid for boarding again.
